New Jersey History:

New Jersey’s history can be traced as far back as the Younger Dryas climate, more than ten thousand years ago. After the reversal of the Younger Dryas, the Native Americans moved and settled in New Jersey. It was through the exploration of Giovanni da Verrazzano that it paved the way for Europeans to set foot in New Jersey soil.

According to history, New Jersey was largely occupied by different tribes of the Lenape but later on, it became a region controlled by the Swedes and Dutch.
